Some folks email me and ask how in the world could I have such an agressive price target on APWR for end of 2009 given the current share price of $8 at present???? Answer:: Explosive growth coming from APWR in 3 different segments that will drive explosive demand for the shares going forward into 2010.
APWR produces clean , green electrical power for China and 100% of its past revenues are from green power plants. However, in the future, APWR is going ballistic with a 3 prong new attack featuring 2 brand new divisions which may take time to ramp but once up and running, its full throttle forward towards $19 price target end of 2009 with rising earnings and ballistic new revenues driving demand for future of green energy in China and all of southeast Asia.
APWR has formed the Shenyang Power Alliance and this is a conglomeration of Chinese companies which will win alot of large power projects inside China and in southeast Asia given the Chinese 70% requirement to award power projects to Chinese companies and given the China government has committed 440 BILLION in green energy stimulus money, APWR is a lock to win alot of new projects going forward.
APWR has also formed a wind division into wind power and signed GENERAL ELECTRIC as a joint venture partner into 2010 as a gear box manufacturer for GE in all of China. APWR is also producing their own wind turbines harnassing technology from Germany and Denmark so the ramp up has been slower in sourcing components but the production is finally beginnning and I look for APWR to figure out most problems by end of 2009 and get rolling into 2010 going forward. The new facility has the capacity of 300 units per year (large 2.7MW units) and 420 smaller 750KW units but look for APWR to build slowly and ramp as the 2010 year progresses.
APWR management predicts 30 units in 2009 which will be a stretch and nobody beleives on Wall Street so if APWR can finally hit their predictions, whatever they say into 2010 will be beleived and the stock will soar into 2010. My prediction is 19 units end of 2009 so lets see how I do on predictions! If you remember, I was the only one predicting a horrible 1Q09 which was correct. If APWR can deliver wind turbines by end of 2009, 2010 will be huge for APWR given the HORRIBLE 1Q09 results will be put to forward looking 2010 first quarter which has always been horrible due to seasonality of outside cold northern China works and the new revenue stream from inside wind turbine manufacturing. The 1Q10 quarter will be a NEW RECORD in APWR history books!!! Mark this post for PREDICTION of 1Q10 will be RECORD REVENUES for APWR. When you compare 31 million 1Q09 results versus what I am predicting 150 Million in REVENUES for 2010, one will see a POP you have never imagined!! Invest now for 4th of July 2010. One wont be dissappointed in my humble opinion!
