U.S. GE Transport Systems has more than 100 years’ history as an affiliated companies to GE, one of the World Top 500 Company. It is a world famous supplier for railway, ship power, drilling motor, mining industry and wind power technology. A-Power and GE Transport Systems decided to co-invest to set up the largest wind turbine gearbox manufacturing base of Asia at Shenyang High and New Technology Development Zone. This manufacturing base will produce various sizes of wind turbine gear boxes. Annual output value will reach RMB 6 billion yuan. The signing up ceremony for this cooperation will also be held on January 11, 2009.
