some of you have NOT figured out the coming future price action to APWR for the future given the history and past performance of APWR going into the future. With 20% short shares on APWR, APWR will skyrocket the very next SIGNED CONTRACT vs the MOU’s that have been announced. IF APWR signs either the Thailand, MACAU, or Texas contract or some unknown ””contract”’, APWR will soar into the future.
A Signed Contract is a DONE DEAL vs a MOU is a Memorandum of Understanding or an LOI is a Letter of Intent…………..no POPS on promises, only MOONSHOTS on SIGNED CONTRACTS coming……………..
the PAST……………
NEW YORK (AP) — Chinese wind turbine manufacturer A-Power Energy Generation Systems Ltd. said Wednesday it secured a $36.2 million contract to develop a 19.5-megawatt wind farm in Eastern China.
The wind farm, developed for a unit of Datang International Power Generation Co. Ltd., will be located in the Donggan, Rizhao City of Shandong Province.
According to the deal, A-Power will supply the wind turbines, the towers and the foundations. The company will also oversee the construction, subcontracting and installation for the project.
The Rizhao Donggang Wind Farm project, owned by Rizhao City Hengyuan Wind Power Co. Ltd., has an initial requirement of eight units of the 2.5/2.7 megawatt wind turbines and is expandable to 100 megawatts.
The project is scheduled to begin November, with an estimated completion time of November 2010.
The contract represents A-Power’s second full-responsibility wind farm project since it signed a $90.5 million deal in September to develop a 49.5-megawatt wind farm in Inner Mongolia.
Shares of A-Power rose 85 cents, or 7.8 percent, to $11.75 in midday trading.
