  • Sen Shumer needs to take a back seat with his political mouth and get into reality and green power for the people with green jobs coming to USA from China! How can this hypocritical senator endorse money and jobs from foreign countries like Spain and Germany when the jobs and wind plants go into New York and yet when the Chinese offer us a USA plant with 1000 jobs, the fine hypocritical Senator still calling foul ?? Sometimes, political mouths need to be silenced and called out as the fine Senator sure likes foreign wind turbine makers and foreign money inside New York but anywhere else, he is crying foul to Secy Chu . Get over it Shumer, every Dutch, German , and Spanish firm who builds and finances a Wind Farm inside USA gets stimulus money, that is what it was created for , incentives to Wind Farms and create USA jobs.!!

Nov. 17 (Bloomberg) — China’s A-Power Energy Generation Systems Ltd. jumped to a five-month high after announcing plans to build a factory in the U.S. to supply wind energy turbines for renewable energy projects in North and South America.

The facility will produce 1,100 megawatts of wind engine turbines annually including the machines for a $1.5 billion wind farm venture in Texas, and hire about 1,000 workers, according to a statement from the U.S. Renewable Energy Group, a private equity firm and A-Power’s partner in the project. The location of the U.S. plant wasn’t disclosed.

The decision to build the plant in the U.S. muted criticism from U.S. Senator Charles Schumer, who two weeks earlier said the Obama administration should bar the 600-megawatt wind farm in Texas from receiving U.S. government stimulus funds because most of the power turbines would be made in China.

“This is exactly what stimulus funding ought to do: create and strengthen green manufacturing jobs in America, even if that slightly slows renewable energy production as we play catch-up to countries like China,” Schumer said in a statement today.

A-Power’s announcement is “helping the stock today,” said Pavel Molchanov, a Houston-based analyst with Raymond James & Associates. “This further solidifies the project for investors.” He kept his “outperform” rating on the stock.

Liaoning, China-based A-Power’s shares climbed 17 percent to $13.56 at 4:02 p.m. in New York trading, the highest price since June 10. The stock has more than tripled this year.

The U.S. and Chinese companies made the announcement as President Barack Obama wrapped up his first trip to China today pledging to continue the strategic and economic dialogue between the two countries.

(((is Shumer a Chinese racist???? its OK for Dutch, German and Spanish stimulus money to be spent but NOT the Chinese ???))

  • Who is US Renewable Energy Group?? Who is behind the USREG???? Some say the directors have the inner ear of Pres Obama for green energy???????? What other groups are USREG invested into??? Lots and lots of due diligence must be done on both sides before all deals they have announced are done deals but the 600mw wind farm in Texas requires a Dec22nd drop dead date so time is of the premium!

  • When Oil was $150 per barrel, APWR was $32 with a p/e of 24 and a growth story that was only a story. 18 months later, APWR has a sugar daddy in USREG inside USA partnering for a 600mw wind farm in Texas and an 1100MW Wind production facility somewhere inside USA.

APWR is starting to get some traction in the media and as price rises, demand for information demand soars. As folks read the news today, my blog lit up like a roman candle as ‘’search engines” started with “”"China Wind Farm in Texas”” or ””’Shenyang Power Alliance”’ or ””APWR Building a Wind Farm in Texas ””

Sometimes, one has to figure out who knows what and how did this person land on my blog. My passion and my money is with APWR for quite a ride and I been studying and investing in this company for the last 18 months.

Nobody in USA has studied APWR the way I have cause I have a one track one pony road show with wind power my emphasis and my horse and jockey are Mr Lu and APWR and Shenyang Power Alliance. Google searches dont have an opinion or an ego like I do, type in some of the above search results and see whose blog pops up????

Like I have often said, I have an EGO and an OPINION, the charts have an unbiased story to tell and the CHART does not lie nor have opinions, its just a STORY of where we been and where we going into the future. My estimates for APWR are published and like my great Q1 and Q2 calls, my Q3 call will be spot on like it or not is MY OPINION .

But, given my 2 milllion + or – for both Q1 and Q2, I am by far the CLOSEST analysts on this company. My 3Q call is 91 of which I have ZERO CLUE if I am right or wrong but given the past, and the Wharton boys calling for 112 (they were OFF by 15 million EACH past quarter so why would they be right now ????)) I will be closer than the Wharton boys guaranteed. However, let me clarify ”estimates”’ as they should be called ”guesstimates”’ and when they BOOK revenue is anybody’s guess and estimate.

However, as I have previously noted in past week , APWR is going to (IMHO) RAISE GUIDANCE and a raised guidance going forward rockets any company despite what 3Q numbers actually come in at. So, if U are reading this trying to be cute and ”trade” your way into a better position, U are a total IDIOT in my book cause I am honest enough to admit , “”"MY GUESSES are just guessimates but I BET I will be right again”’!

When APWR raises GUIDANCE for end of 2009 , (ADDING 30 million on wind revenues for END of 2009), the stock will go up. Good luck to all and may he with the most APWR in 2015 win the race and the marathon!

  • The DallasNews.com article talks about the 1.5 billion west Texas Wind Farm but also details the parts and pieces that Senator Shumer and Secretary of Energy Chu exchanged concerning Sen. Shumer whining and moaning about the Chinese getting American stimulus money.

As I pointed out before, Sen Shumer sure loved the SPANISH utility going to build and finance 2 billion wind farm and production facilities in New York but when the Chinese wanted to build in Texas, Shumer was screaming foul! Of course this was all of Shumers trying to get political sound bites and gain political clout from his UNION supporters in New York. However Sen Shumer , as Secy Chu points out, one cannot discriminate on our funds and our support stimulus money based on ethnicity or country of origin!

Now, that APWR is going to build a wind farm in USA and bring 1000 jobs to America for wind power turbine production, I guess you could say its water under the bridge and the 600MW 1.5 Billion wind farm in Texas built in China is a done deal (IMHO) and also today, APWR and USREG announced a joint venture to build a wind turbine production plant inside USA for 1100MW’s of wind turbine capacity per year employing 1000 USA workers in wind power for the green clean future of America.

    QUOTE:
Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., wrote Energy Secretary Steven Chu earlier this month criticizing the proposed wind farm.

“This project should not receive a dime of stimulus funds unless it relies on American-built products rather than Chinese turbines,” Schumer wrote.

Secretary Chu wrote back on Friday pointing out that, under the stimulus law, the project would involve tax credits “available to all qualifying entities” rather than money handed out at the discretion of the Energy Department.

Chu also wrote Schumer that “manufacturers will not build plants here and grow their production capacity here unless there is domestic demand; and, until recently, that was not the case.”

    ADDITIONALLY:
McGarr said the U.S.-based factory had “nothing to do with” winning federal support for the wind farm.

“This has been in the works for a long time,” he said.

  • As some of you know by reading this blog, I have spent the last 18 months researching and dreaming of how APWR will dominate the China Wind Power markets in the year 2020. Well, given the latest news out of China and APWR and the Shenyang Power Alliance, well, I dont think we will have to wait to 2020 to see my dream come true. APWR currently sells for $12.70 and my TARGET for end of 2010 is $38 based on solid fundamentals and a PEG and P/E that is easily attainable and easily reached if certain metrics are met in the future.

What will the APWR story be in END of 2010?? Well, the answer is variables that are completely out of my control but surprises that never cease to amaze me on a daily basis. China announced Oct 29th a 1.5 Billion Texas Wind Farm to be built in Texas with wind turbines from China financed by China banks and partnered with USREG and Cielo in America. Senator Shumer screamed foul and how about USA JOBS for green energy??? Today, APWR announces with USREG a partnership to build a Chinese factory in USA financed and partnered with a green USREG VC Firm intent on becoming a leading green energy provider in America even with Al Gores VC Green Energy fund providing 1000 green energy jobs.

In the future, look for APWR to sign the China Macau Island 1.5 billion LNG plant skyrocketing the stock over even my wildest imaginations in price and potential. Like I have been writing for the past 18 months, APWR is a growth monster in green energy going forward an the sky is the limit into the future as APWR continues to surprise even me the Uber BULL of Green China Energy. As my grandfather use to remind me, ””Every Blind Hog Finds an Acorn once in while ”’!! Sometimes its better to be LUCKY than good!

some HUMOR”:” APWR to Dominate MARS for Wind Power”"”, one of my LONG freinds in APWR Greichman writes………

the signing of the texas deal is the next bump then come earnings and forward guidance, then macau then SPA left field deal,k more turbines, GE, more small turbines, more medium turbines, more biomass, more DG, extension of macu, texas wind revenue, texas plant up and running, south america texas deals, pakistan, nigeria, thailand, indonesia, antartica, mars, total global domination, thats whats next

  • Somebody sound the rally horn cause APWR just shocked the world and announced going to build 1100 MW Wind Turbine production facility inside USA for USA green jobs on USA soil for USA wind farms! APWR could be the monster growth story of 2011 for green power.

NEW YORK, Nov 16 (Reuters) – China’s A-Power Energy Generation Systems (APWR.O) has signed a cooperation agreement with equity firm U.S. Renewable Energy Group (US-REG) to build a plant in the United States to supply wind energy turbines to renewable energy projects in North and South America.

The joint announcement in Washington late on Monday came three weeks after A-Power said it planned a $1.5 billion wind farm project in West Texas along with U.S. companies,

Monday’s announcement said the turbine plant is expected to produce 1,100 megawatts of wind energy turbines annually, enough to power 330,000 homes. It will employ about 1,000 workers and create additional jobs during construction, the companies said.

In addition to production and assembly at the new plant, the plan calls for many wind turbine components to be sourced from U.S. manufacturers.

On Oct. 29, Shenyang Power Group (SPG) and US-REG announced plans to develop a $1.5 billion, 600MW wind farm on about 36,000 acres in Texas, for which A-Power has been designated as the turbine supplier. A-Power is a shareholder of SPG.

The construction of the assembly and production plant is subject to signing of definitive agreements between the parties, as well as various government approvals. (Reporting by Steve James; Editing by Kim Coghill)
