Like I have been saying, U have NOT seen anything yet till U see the day APWR prints the first of several “”BILLION”" deals coming in West Texas Wind Farm and Macau Island LNG and Nat Gas plants. “”"Billions”’ in revenues coming in 2010 and 2011 to APWR

Profiting From China’s 5-Year $454 Billion Environmental Initiative 11/25/09

China plans to more than double its environmental protection spending through 2015.

According to Bloomberg, the world’s largest producer of greenhouse gasses is looking to cut back on its environmental impact potentially to the tune of $454 billion in spending over the next five years. Investors are rushing to place bets on potential beneficiaries, sending select Chinese names higher by double-digit percentages.

Century Securities analyst Yan Biao told Bloomberg, “The increase in spending will benefit equipment manufacturers in water treatment, air pollution control, and also developers in the renewable energy sector.”

As a whole, the Wind Energy Stocks Index is pushing higher by 2% today as Chinese component A-Power Energy Generation Systems (APWR) surges by 11%.

A-Power hit a five-month high last week after announcing plans to open a production facility in the U.S.. Now trading above the $16 mark, there is little technical resistance to the upside. A-Power will certainly be a stock to watch if it is able to secure a share of China’s 12-figure stimulus.

Meanwhile in the solar sector, Chinese players are moving higher again. The Chinese Solar Stocks Index has taken a breather over the last week, after a powerful earnings rally sent shares higher across the board.

Canadian Solar (CSIQ), Solarfun Power Holdings (SOLF), and Trina Solar (TSL) are among the top performers over the last month, up by more than 20%. Meanwhile, LDK Solar (LDK), Yingli (YGE), and Suntech Power Holdings (STP) could also benefit if government spending provides more demand for solar equipment.

Chinese components of the Energy Storage and Battery Technology Stocks Index are also surging today. China BAK Battery (CBAK) is setting the pace with a 16% spike.

Chinese environmental control and remediation firm RINO International (RINO) is up big as well. The stock is now ahead by more than 25% in the last month.

  • When I started this journey 18 months ago, I had the premise and the beleif that APWR was going to become the monster of green energy in China. I owned Vestas, AMSC, and APWR……over the 18 months, I kept leaning towards APWR as the rocket for the future and kept adding and adding and adding to my APWR holdings.

When APWR announced the “”MACAU MOMENT”"‘ and a potential deal for a “”"BILLION ”’ LNG Plant on Macau Island in China, I used the “”"”BILLION”"” word for the first time ever in my quest to seek the China Green monster of the future.

On Octover 29th, APWR announced a potential deal for another “”"BILLION”"” deal in TEXAS of all places and I almost dropped my morning coffee……….TEXAS ??? APWR ??? China Wind Farm in Texas?????

OF Course all this financing and new contracts is the process of Mr Genius Lu , the CEO of APWR and forming the Shenyang Power Alliance to finance and construct these monstrous size plants.

Then, the world changed when USREG and APWR announced a joint partnership to build and construct and own a Wind Turbine plant inside the USA for North America and South America……….I get to use the “”BILLION “” word again as the REVENUES from this Wind Turbine plant inside USA (which will create 3000 wind green jobs) is brought into play for future revenue streams and future wind turbine farms owned and operated by APWR into the future. Now, we bring in the “”"”"IPP”"” term along with the “”"”BILLIONS”"” as APWR is going to become an American Independent Power Producer along with its partners USREG and CIELO.

In my wildest imagaginations, I never ever thought I would load the little wife into the newly purchased brand new car powered and financed by APWR and drive to TEXAS and view the WIND FARM and then tour the wind turbine factory producing Chinese Wind Turbines inside USA with USA LABOR!!!

Again, the REVENUE projections for 2010 and 2011 come into play as I get to use the “”"”FORWARD LOOKING BILLION”"” word again for future revenues into 2011.

I missed selling Qualcomm way too early, I wont make the same mistake again on this future ROCKET into the GREEN CLEAN FUTURE of CHINA and beyond!

  • Owning APWR Before Earnings Print

my buddy Jan814 writes this post, and it makes TOTAL SENSE especially if U are truly LONG!!!

The point I am trying to make is this.
Many individual investors and institutional investors may be concerned that APWR may not meet street EPS expectations in Q3. They may be right. So these investors will hold their stock buying for the Q3 earnings release. They will hope for some stock price weakness, and then buy the news. They will buy because if they were paying attention, this is what they will know.
    1) They will know that APWR has produced a steady flow of MOUs, contracts, and agreements, securing the future revenue flow. Seventeen DPG projects are in work. Seventy wind turbines are, or will be, in production this year. The joint venture with GE is well underway. The Shenyang Power Group has its’ first two MOUs, and the size of those two potential contracts are nothing less than spectacular. APWR has a couple of component supply agreements and the two “full responsibility” wind farm contracts in China. New biomass contracts have been signed. A solar undertaking is about to unfold etc.
    2) They will know that the APWR Q3 numbers are reflective of the kinds of performance numbers that the street has been demanding. Q3 will deliver record revenue and record dollar earnings even if street EPS estimates are not met. Q4 will be even better with the first revenue from wind turbines gracing the income statement. The APWR vision, which has been clouded by contract delays and component shortages, is about to re-emerge with an exciting clarity.
    3) They will know that FY 2010, with its accelerating turbine revenue in both China and the U.S., and the growing DPG revenue including Macau, will shatter the numbers on previous income statements and define the success story that is APWRs.
    4) When looking for investment success, these investors will know they should look to China, which has the worlds’ third largest economy, the fastest growing economy, and the second largest level of energy consumption in the world. APWR is in China.
They will know to look at the alternative energy industry because we must revolutionize the methods with which energy is provided to us all. APWR is in that industry.
They will know they must focus on a company with a highly-skilled engineering team, proven management, strong government relationships, strong ties to industrial industries in China, and with access to university scientific research. APWR has all of that. And now, APWR has established a significant presence in the good old U.S.A.
    5) They will know we have entered a new bull stock market coupled with recovering world economies. Investors are returning and they are looking for value. APWRs sleeping analysts have helped hand us that value.
    6) They will know that all of the above will bring an expanding PE ratio to APWR and will prompt the analysts to deliver real world EPS projections.
    7) And finally, they will know that the APWR stock price will transcend to a level which will exceed most expectations.

  • Mexico now boasts largest wind farm in Latin America

    24/11/2009

The wind farm is called Eurus and has an installed capacity of 250.5 MW. It was developed by Acciona Energía (being the company’s largest wind farm in the world) and cost €366 million. The wind farm covers 2,500 hectares of leased land in Juchitán de Zaragoza (Oaxaca) in the south of Mexico.

Work on the wind farm commenced in July 2008 and the turbines have gradually been connected to the electricity grid since February 2009. Acciona announces that the entire installation will be up and running within a few weeks. Eurus comprises 167 1.5 MW Acciona Windpower turbines. The Spanish company calculates that the energy produced by these machines will be equivalent to the consumption of a population of 500,000 people and will avoid the emission of 600,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, i.e. around 25% of the total emissions of a population of that size. Acciona estimates that this output could cover 25% of the energy needs of Cemex in Mexico.

Acciona claims that Eurus is one of the largest wind farms in the world and second in terms of emission reductions registered by the United Nations under the Kyoto Protocol. The company also declares that the installation presents one of the highest indices of emission reduction per installed MW in the world due to the high wind resource in the area. Consequently, “the Acciona Windpower turbines installed on the wind farm are Class 1: suitable for placements with strong wind potential”. The company has installed 7,573 MW of wind capacity on 266 wind farms across 14 countries – 6,101 MW owned – and manufactures its own wind turbines

  • why is USA going to spend 35 billion on green energy for next five years and CHINA is going to spend 454 billion on green energy???? WTF is wrong with the USA??? and U wonder WHY I invest into China Green Energy companies??? APWR is going north folks, and its going to go BIG before 2009 is over and done!

    By Bloomberg News

Nov. 25 (Bloomberg) — China, the world’s largest emitter of greenhouse gases, plans to more than double its spending on environmental protection in the five years through 2015, the Shanghai Securities News reported.

The Asian nation may invest 3.1 trillion yuan ($454 billion) during the period, compared with 1.4 trillion yuan allocated for the five years between 2006 and 2010, the Chinese-language newspaper said today, citing an unidentified official from the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

China, pressed by the U.S. to set emission targets for the Copenhagen global-warming summit next month, said in September it will lower emissions per unit of economic growth through 2020. Greenhouse gases increased to record concentrations last year, the United Nations said yesterday.

“The doubling of the budget is beyond our expectations,” Yan Biao, an analyst with Century Securities Co. said by phone from the southern city of Shenzhen. “The increase in spending will benefit equipment manufacturers in water treatment, air pollution control, and also developers in the renewable energy sector.”

Tao Detian, Beijing-based spokesman at the Ministry of Environmental Protection, didn’t pick up calls made to his office today.

    Solar Plants

The so-called output value of the environmental-protection industry may have an annual increase of between 15 percent and 20 percent, the Shanghai Securities said. The government is studying tax incentives for the sector, according to the report.

Beijing plans to build a 70 megawatt solar-power plant as part of the city’s focus on expanding the use of alternative energy, the capital’s Development and Reform Commission said Nov. 20. The government will also develop wind, nuclear and geothermal power, according to the commission.

China National Offshore Oil Corp., the nation’s third largest oil producer, may build a network of battery-charging stations for electric cars in China, the world’s second-biggest automobile market, Shan Lianwen, director of corporate strategy at China National Offshore said on Nov. 3.

The Asian nation has supported automakers’ investments in alternative-energy vehicles to curb oil imports, cut pollution and to help carmakers challenge General Motors Co. and Toyota Motor Corp. overseas.

Chery Automobile Co., China’s largest maker of own-brand cars, will start selling its first plug-in electric model around June next year.
